We’re pleased to announce that the University of Liverpool Computing Services Department has agreed to set up an experimental Learning Registry (LR) node. In addition to providing our ENGrich project with independent access to LR, we hope that in due course, other centres and services around the University will find innovative uses for LR. Initially we will be setting up a “common node”, which is explained in the JLeRN blog entry here. If successful, the University might then wish to expand by adding other common and/or gateway nodes to create a fully-functioning LR network for the University of Liverpool.
